Rick Bolger
Brockhurst and Privett ward campaigner

I have lived in Gosport for 27 years, with my family (wife and two sons). I work in Portsmouth as an Architectural Conservator, responsible for the maintenance and conservation of scheduled monuments and listed buildings. I specialise in historic buildings, and maritime and sustainable architecture.
I am very concerned about the environment and climate change, and am proactive in investigating and providing green energy solutions in both modern and historic buildings.
Gosport has many interesting heritage buildings and infrastructure. If I am elected to the council, I would like to be involved with the conservation of the diverse range of Scheduled Monuments, Listed Buildings and Infrastructure. Through my work, I have had experience of conservation works at Royal Clarence Yard and Oil Fuel depot including the Bernard de Gomme ramparts. I have also worked on the Sea Defences at Fort Blockhouse and No 2 Battery at Browndown.
